We always overestimate what we can do in 1 day, and underestimate what we can achieve in 10 years.

Carnegie Mellon University, Robotics Institute

I’m a master student from Carnegie Mellon University, Robotics Institute, advised by Professor Sebastian Scherer and Professor László A. Jeni. I obtained my bachelor of science in Integrative Systems and Design and Computer Science (double major) from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Sometimes, I go by my nickname, Tom Notch.

I love all kinds of technology, robotics in particular. I have been participating in robotics competitions since elementary school, so I understand how far robots are from humans, and I’m working hard to close the gap.

  • Robotic Exploration and Planning
  • Control
